EasyGo rebrands to EZO as Ireland’s fastest growing private EV charging network surpasses 110,000 users.

Ireland’s fastest-growing private EV charging network EasyGo has today announced a major milestone, with over 110,000 drivers now using the platform, putting the company firmly on course to hit its target of 150,000 users globally by the end of this year.

The announcement coincides with a bold new chapter for the company – it is officially rebranding to EZO to reflect its rapid growth, evolving identity and continued leadership in EV infrastructure across Ireland and the UK. Over the coming weeks EasyGo’s user app will be updated to EZO.

The company has continued its strong year-on-year growth in 2025, driven by rising demand and consistent performance across its core services. The number of DC chargers in the first half of the year have steadily increased, with July closing in with 264 new rapid charge points – a 42% increase compared to the same period last year, and more than double the volume recorded in 2023. This steady month-on-month growth reflects greater operational efficiency and stronger market traction.

Looking ahead, the business has a secure pipeline of over 150 key locations for rapid charger installations including more than 20 charging hubs,  over the next 12 months, with deployment already underway.

This year alone, the company has doubled in size, growing its headcount from 35 to over 70 staff. Its growth is underpinned by a series of landmark developments and has made significant strides with several high-impact projects, including a major collaboration with Eir, and assisting over 500 fleet customers across the island of Ireland in their transition to electric vehicles.

Backed by Rubicon Capital Advisors who advised the raising of €30 million of investment from Aviva Investors in 2023, the company has also made a major leap into the UK market. They recently secured a £300 million, 20-year deal to power Scotland’s Net Zero transition. The contract – the first of its kind – will see the installation and management of over 1,300 EV chargers across the Highlands, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Moray Councils, marking the company’s largest infrastructure project to date.

A strategic partnership with the Department of Transport recently launched the first-ever Irish Shared Charging Initiative in Ireland – a pilot scheme enabling homeowners to share private chargers with neighbours and the public. The company will also assist in installing up to 227 sports clubs across Ireland as part of ZEVI infrastructure funding.

CEO Ollie Chatten said: “Surpassing 110,000 users and our recent growth to the UK is a clear signal that drivers and communities are choosing our company as their trusted EV charging partner. With user numbers rising fast and major partnerships underway, we are poised to lead the EV transition at scale. We are ready for what’s next, and we’re building the infrastructure to match the pace of change.

“Our growth is a clear sign not only of the strength of our own position, but of the broader trajectory of the EV sector. We’re here to lead with conviction, and to help shape a future that’s already unfolding. We see sustained momentum, growing infrastructure demand, and a deepening commitment to electrification.

“With today’s official unveiling of our rebrand, we are underscoring our commitment to delivering smart, accessible, and sustainable EV charging solutions that meet the needs of everyday drivers and communities. It is more than a name change. It reflects who we are – becoming a smarter, more scalable and more connected network for the future of electric mobility.”
